Dear Parents, The following is the curriculum for the week of Jan. 30^th – Feb. 3^rd Math:- Continuing with Chapter 8,”Subtraction Readiness.”- Lesson 1 Take Away- Lesson 2 Subtract 1-

Reading:- Introduction to the story, “On the Go.”- Reviewing nouns, describing words, and action words.- Reviewing rhyming and comprehension skills also cause and effect.- Learning the op word family. - Reviewing all sight words from Unit 1- Unit 4

Handwriting:- Learning how to write the letter Oo their name and the number 19.

Religion:-Reintroduction to Chapter 14, “Good Choices.”- Reviewing Chapters 12-14.

Science- Continuing with Chapter 4. “Physical Science,” Sound, Heat, and Light.

Social Studies:- Assessing Unit 3, “The Town and the Farm.” - Doing our Flat Stanley Project

Dear parents,There are a few reminders, this week. I apologize; the report cards will be going home today. They will need to be signed and returned to school as soon as possible. On Tuesday, the 31^st will be Team day. Also mass will be held at 10:00. On Wednesday, the 1^st is our annual parent /grandparent lunch. Students will need to wear their uniform. On Thursday, the 2^nd, students may wear their gym uniform, and mass will be held at 8:00. Talent show practice will be held after school on Tuesday and Thursday until 3:15.
