Update Letter for the week of Jan.30-February 3 and February
6-10
Dear Preschool Families,
Just a few
housekeeping notes, there seems to be some confusion over the start times on a two
hour delay. The delay begins from the time the school opens, not the time
preschool classes start. SS. Peter and Paul classes begin at 7:30; therefore, a
two-hour delay means classes start at 9:30. Preschool opens at 8:30, so on a two-hour
delay we begin classes at 9:30. If driving conditions concern you then please
feel free to keep your child home that day, we will miss you, but we would
rather you be safe.
·
Students are coming to school without hats and
gloves for recess; please send them with the proper outerwear regardless of the
morning weather. If the weather changes by lunchtime, we will have outside
recess and they need to be dressed appropriately.
·
Students should bring a drink for snack as well as
a drink for lunch, if your child wants water at snack I can get it for them
from the kitchen sink; however you need to send a paper or plastic cup.
·
One last item we need to replenish our tissues,
paper towels and glue sticks. If you can please send in one box of tissues, one
roll of paper towels and three glue sticks per child I think we will make it to
the end of the school year. Thanks for your help.
