Students did an outstanding job on their Education Fair projects.  Congrats to all!

Congratulations to the Geography Bee classroom participants Katie Aaron and

Victoria Barthold! 

Special congratulations to Katie for placing third in the school wide competition for grades 4 through 8.

Report cards were issued today.

Tuesday is TEAM Day.

There will be a Family Mass on Thursday, 2/2.  All are welcome.

The Talent Show will take place on Friday, 2/3.  There will also be a Bake Sale.

Math-          continue study of Fractions- Chapter 8, Test Mon. 2/6

 

Spelling – working on Lesson 20, words containing”oo” and “yoo” sounds

 

Reading –Focused skill-compare and contrast, Selection- Blame it on the Wolf

 

English – conclude study of Adjectives- Chapter 4, Test-Thurs. 2/2

 

Religion – working on Chapter 9- Honoring God -Test Thursday 2/2

 

Science –continuing Unit D- Human Body Systems, Chapter 1- The Digestive System

          And Nutrition information

          Please bring 2-3 food containers including nutrition labels

 

Social Studies – beginning reading of Tales of the Towpath-

          A book written about local history that students are reading
