Congratulations to our 2010 Graduates!

2010 Graduates of Ss Peter & Paul School

Graduation Ceremonies were held at Saints Peter and Paul School in Lehighton on Thursday, June 10th beginning with Liturgy led by Fr. Michael Ahrensfield. Following the ceremonies, the school community joined together to celebrate with dining and dancing in the school hall. SS. Peter & Paul School and 7th grade students and parents provided refreshments and decorations. Mr. Vincent Vella, DJ, provided entertainment. Miss Vicky Unitis is the SS. Peter & Paul School Eighth Grade teacher.

Danielle David: The Altar and Rosary Award for showing the most improved average in Religion and Academics, sponsored by the SS. Peter and Paul Altar and Rosary Society. The Physical Education and Sportsmanship Award for respecting teammates and opponents, representing themselves with great integrity at all times, and gladly accepting instruction without reluctance, recognizing the desire to learn, sponsored by a Friend of SS. Peter and Paul School.

Ashton Galasso: The American Legion Auxiliary Award for honor, scholarship, service, courage, Americanism, and leadership, sponsored by the American Legion Post #314. The Altar Server Award for serving as an altar server in their parish, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Damian Council #598. Rebecca Hartman: The President’s Award for Educational Excellence for earning a GPA between 90 and 100%, sponsored by the United States Department of Education. The Excellence in Religion Award for achieving the highest GPA in Religion, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Damian Council #598. The Excellence in Math Award for achieving he highest GPA in math, sponsored by SS. Peter & Paul School. The Excellence in Science Award for achieving the highest GPA in Science, sponsored by the SS. Peter and Paul School PTO. The Excellence in Social Studies Award for achieving the highest GPA in Social Studies, sponsored by Mrs. Glenn R. Whiteman, in memory of her husband. The Academic Achievement Award for achieving the highest GPA in the graduating class, sponsored by SS. Peter & Paul School. The Computer and Technology Award for achieving the highest GPA in Computer Science, sponsored by SS. Peter & Paul School. The Art Award for displaying an open mind in regards to the Fine Arts and striving to reach their artistic potential, sponsored by SS. Peter & Paul School. The Excellence in English Award for achieving the highest GPA in English, sponsored by the SS. Peter and Paul Altar and Rosary Society.

Kyle Higgins: The American Legion Award for honor, scholarship, service, courage, Americanism, and leadership, sponsored by the American Legion Post #314. Samantha Sirsky: The President’s Award for Educational Excellence for earning a GPA between 90 and 100%, sponsored by the United States Department of Education. The Good Citizenship Award for leadership and a willingness to accept responsibility for the challenges put forth by the administration and faculty of the school, sponsored by Senator David Argall. The Altar Server Award for serving as an altar server in their parish, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Damian Council #598.

Brandon Trinkle: The Good Citizenship Award for leadership and a willingness to accept responsibility for the challenges put forth by the administration and faculty of the school, sponsored by Senator David Argall. The Holy Name Award for commitment to Religious and Academic studies and service to the community, sponsored by the SS. Peter and Paul Holy Name Society. The Altar Server Award for serving as an altar server in their parish, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Damian Council #598. The Excellence in Reading Award for showing the most improved average in Reading, sponsored by the SS. Peter & Paul School PTO. The Classmate Award for inspiring classmates to do their best by providing an atmosphere of competition and support, sponsored by the Zurn Family. The Music Award for showing an appreciation for the special gift of Music given to us by our Heavenly Father, sponsored by SS. Peter & Paul School and Mrs. Donna Hinkle
